Here our subject appears to be wearing masks which implies that there is something deeper going on here than what meets the eye. The subject is staring off into the distance and thinking as if pondering a different life, perhaps a different version of themselves. Even the yellow hair that seems so perfectly placed is slightly melting, or dripping, and suggesting impermanence. The wrinkles on the skin represent aging and time passing, which makes one think, if not now, then when?
