Our young boxer is putting everything into this moment. He is made up of two colors, red and blue, which over lap in places. The colors suggest there is more than one emotion he is feeling. The pink muting his full expression of self, symbolizes the front facing outward softening one does to be normalized in public society. He is wearing a regular t-shirt which is not normal for training or fight time in boxing- the t-shirt brings the everyday struggle into the fight.
