Unity #2, 2025

The body posture of a strong confident sailor with the borrowed eyes and lips of a woman suggests both masculine and feminine are present here. This piece is not necessarily about gender, but rather the inner balance of masculine and feminine that in modern times we recognize as balance.

Graphite Pencil, Acrylic, and Charcoal on Canvas

120 cm x 160 cm

Hard lines. Soft features. A sailor masculine, scribbled in pencil, wearing someone else’s eyes and lips borrowed from a a girl in a fashion magazine. This one’s about control and identity and in the human experience.

Part of my, Elegance of Dissonance collection.
